F.A.Q.
What's the difference between Landscape & Hardscape?
Most projects involve a combination of both. For example, a backyard patio (hardscape) surrounded by garden beds and ornamental trees (softscape) is one of the most common combinations we see.
How do I know how much material I need for my project?
For bulk materials like mulch, topsoil, gravel, and sand, you’ll need to calculate cubic yards. Measure your area’s length and width in feet, then multiply by the desired depth in feet. Divide that number by 27 to convert to cubic yards.
If math isn’t your thing, don’t worry. Bring us your measurements (length, width, and depth or height) and our team will calculate the exact quantities for you at no charge. We’d rather help you get it right the first time than have you make a return trip for more material—or end up with too much.
What Type of Stone or Paver Is Best for My Patio, Walkway, or Driveway?
The best material depends on three things: where it’s going, how it’ll be used, and what look you’re after. We carry a full range of options across every price point. Come see them in person at our yard—photos don’t do justice to the color, texture, and scale of these materials.
Do I Need a Base Material or Fabric Under My Pavers or Retaining Wall?
Yes—and this is the single most important step that DIYers and even some inexperienced contractors skip. A proper base is the difference between a project that lasts 20+ years and one that starts shifting, sinking, or cracking within the first two seasons.
We stock all the base materials, fabrics, drainage products, and polymeric sand you’ll need. Our team can walk you through the full material list for your specific project.
Can I Install Landscaping or Hardscape Materials Myself, or Should I Hire a Contractor?

Do You Offer Delivery, and How Does Bulk Ordering Work?
Yes, we offer delivery—and for most landscape and hardscape materials, buying in bulk is significantly more cost-effective than purchasing bagged products from a retail store.
